1701 Franciacorta
1701 Franciacorta
Housed in Palazzo Cazzago, a 18th Century villa on the top of Santa Giulia hill, 1701 Franciacorta is the first and only certified biodynamic wine producer in Franciacorta. Following the biodynamic farming methods, 1701 avoid any chemical intervention; they foster a deep understanding of viticulture and encourage biodiversity and respect for the land.
Franciacorta is one of the classic sparkling wines in Italy, produced in an area between the southern shore of the Lago d’Iseo and the city of Brescia. 1701 Franciacorta Brut combines the crisp elegance of Chardonnay with the depth of Pinot Nero, producing a complex harmony of bold herbal notes finished with a light punch of acidity. The Rosé is made with Pinot Noir grapes while the Satèn with Chardonnay only.
