Tenuta di Valgiano
Tenuta di Valgiano
The expression of the wine produced by Tenuta di Valgiano is inherently tied to its Tuscan locale. Perched over 230-270 meters above sea level on the hills of Lucchesia, the vineyards combination of clay, limestone and sandstone soils as well as the Mediterranean climate provide the perfect recipe for growing and maturing the vast array of grapes.
Most of their wines are Tuscan blends that create an intense structure and complexity. Rosso Colline Lucchesi Palistorti perfectly embodies the region with its rich intense aromas of spices and fruits and mature tannins. The same can be said about the slightly younger Valgianino. Full of lightness, the Colline Lucchesi Palistorti di Valgiano Bianco has a pale straw color with a young and fresh taste to be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a light starter.
